Sum Slicer

Privacy policy · 20 August 2026

The short version. There is no account and no sign-in. Scores and player names stay on the phone or tablet. The only thing that leaves the device is an ad request, and it carries nothing that identifies your child. Buy Remove Ads and even that stops.

What we collect

Nothing. Sum Slicer asks for no name, no email address, no date of birth and no sign-in of any kind. We operate no server that your child's device talks to, and we hold no record of anybody who plays.

What stays on the device

All of it is stored by the app on the device itself. It is never sent to us, and deleting the app deletes all of it.

Ads

Unless Remove Ads has been bought, a full-page ad can appear after a game has ended. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. When one is requested, Google receives the technical information that any ad request carries:

Every ad request Sum Slicer makes is tagged in two ways: as child-directed, and as non-personalized. That means the ad shown is chosen from the app it is appearing in and not from any profile, browsing history or interest list. We do not ask for a tracking permission because we do not track, and we send Google nothing about your child, because we have nothing to send.

Google's own policy for this is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Buying Remove Ads stops the app requesting an ad at all, so nothing is sent.

Purchases

Remove Ads is a single payment handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple Account. All we are told is whether the purchase exists on that device. The buy button sits behind a gate designed to stop a young child getting to it on their own.

Children

Sum Slicer is built for children and is written to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We collect no personal information from anybody, so there is none to share, sell or hand on. We do not use analytics, we do not build profiles, and there is no social feature, no chat, no messaging and no way for one player to reach another.

Other companies

Google AdMob is the only outside service the app talks to, and only for ads as described above. Apple handles purchases. There is nobody else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and we will say what changed.
